BXM HEAT EXCHANGER This is a BXM type or cross-flow type on the shell side. It does
look like it has a sump but the heads on the large shell side nozzles (top and bottom)
are just for hydro-test. The large shell nozzles were butt welded connections completed
in the field.
BEM PHOSGENE REACTOR -This is a very unique vertical unit. It has inlet and outlet
distributors and is designed to handle some very extreme chemicals
DEHYDRATION COLUMN MAIN CONDENSER This heat exchanger is a BEM shell and tube
heat exchanger. It is one of the larger units that we produce. Once this unit was
put in service, it was vertical in orientation. It is a dehydration column main condenser.
This unit had 28 1/2 miles of tubes in it and weighed 180,000 pounds.
EVAPORATOR 47-288 AXL Evaporator. Carbon steel shell and tubeside. (1866) 3/4"
tubes. It is used in the commercial refrigeration industry. Liquid ammonia is passed
over the tubes which are heated by ethylene glycol at which point the ammonia is
vaporized and passed into the condensing unit on top. After the ammonia is passed
through the vaporizing stage it is then passed through the vent in the top of the
unit and passed usually to a compressor to be used in the refrigeration process.
BKM C2 SPLITTER RE-BOILER The heat exchanger runs CO2 on one side and propylene
on the other. It's typically used in an industrial oil refinery environment.

SUPERCHANGER® Plate & Frame
Due to its high efficiency, the SUPERCHANGER® unit can handle temperature approaches of less than 1°C (2°F). It also offers “U” values significantly greater than other exchangers, above 8500 W/m2 °C (1500 Btu/hr ft2 °F). This is due to the unique turbulence created by its corrugated plates, which eliminates stagnant areas in liquid flow and promotes maximum heat transfer.
ULTRAMAX® Welded
The ULTRAMAX® heat exchanger is designed for use with liquids, gases or two-phase mixtures at extreme temperatures to 343°C (650°F) and pressures up to 45 barg (650 psig) for standard range units. Extended range units are available for higher temperature and pressure applications.
SUPERMAX® Shell & Plate
The SUPERMAX® shell & plate heat exchanger is designed for pressures to 103.4 barg (1,500 psig) and at temperatures up to 538°C (1,000°F) for standard range units. Extended range units are available for higher temperature and pressure applications. With alternating channels for hot and cold media, the SUPERMAX® can be configured to provide true countercurrent or co-current flow. Amazing Efficiency in a Small Footprint.
MAXCHANGER® Welded
A quick look at the MAXCHANGER® may lead you to dismiss it as a CBE heat exchanger. Yet there is nothing brazed in this unit—it is truly 100% same-same material. Consider MAXCHANGER® ratings: to 103.4 barg (1,500 psig) and 538°C (1,000°F). No CBE can survive under those conditions. For designs with higher pressure ratings, please contact the factory.
PLATECOIL® Prime Surface
PLATECOIL® Prime Surface Heat Exchangers are fabricated from two metal sheets, one or both of which are embossed. When welded together, the embossings form a series of well-defined passages through which the heat transfer media flows. Standard PLATECOIL® panels are available in more than 300 sizes; widths range from 305 mm to 1,092 mm (12 in. to 43 in.). Length dimensions range from 584 mm to 3,632 mm (23 in. to 143 in.).

SPIRAL HEAT EXCHANGERS: Because of the single-flow passages, the spiral heat exchanger
is State-of-the-Art-Technology especially in the case of fouling, viscous and/or
particle-loaded fluids and is therefore frequently thefirst, if not the only choice.
This is because bypassing is intrinsically avoided resulting in a self-cleaning effect
by which potential blockages are washed away before they become a problem. Also in
the case of difficult fluids, high heat transfer coefficients are established and
in case of particle-loaded fluids sedimentation is avoided.
