ANSCOR designs and manufactures coils for new installations, for wide ranges of applications from industrial process to HVAC comfort conditioning. These coils are available in any shape or size and fabricated from a variety of materials.

 

ANSCOR can also provide our customers with an exact dimensional replacement of their existing coil, maintaining the connection locations as well as overall sheet metal dimensions. This eliminates the need for costly re-piping and sheet metal rework. We specialize in custom exact dimensional replacement coils.

 

VACUUM BREAKERS

A special light tension spring, which senses even the slightest vacuum forming in your coil, will open, break the vacuum and drain the coil. Thus preventing freeze-up and other costly damage.

SWEP's ADWIS series combines two CBEs (a refrigerated heat exchanger and a recovery unit) sandwiching an integrated separator in a modular design. ADWIS models 35, 50, 60, 80 and 100 are suitable for applications of 15-100 Nm /h, yet have a very compact envelope of only 189 x 72 x 185 (max) mm. Other advantages of this costeffective solution include stable high performance, convenient drainage and simple insulation.

SUPERCHANGER® Plate & Frame
Due to its high efficiency, the SUPERCHANGER® unit can handle temperature approaches of less than 1°C (2°F). It also offers “U” values significantly greater than other exchangers, above 8500 W/m2 °C (1500 Btu/hr ft2 °F). This is due to the unique turbulence created by its corrugated plates, which eliminates stagnant areas in liquid flow and promotes maximum heat transfer.
ULTRAMAX® Welded
The ULTRAMAX® heat exchanger is designed for use with liquids, gases or two-phase mixtures at extreme temperatures to 343°C (650°F) and pressures up to 45 barg (650 psig) for standard range units. Extended range units are available for higher temperature and pressure applications.
SUPERMAX® Shell & Plate
The SUPERMAX® shell & plate heat exchanger is designed for pressures to 103.4 barg (1,500 psig) and at temperatures up to 538°C (1,000°F) for standard range units. Extended range units are available for higher temperature and pressure applications. With alternating channels for hot and cold media, the SUPERMAX® can be configured to provide true countercurrent or co-current flow.  Amazing Efficiency in a Small Footprint.
MAXCHANGER® Welded
A quick look at the MAXCHANGER® may lead you to dismiss it as a CBE heat exchanger. Yet there is nothing brazed in this unit—it is truly 100% same-same material. Consider MAXCHANGER® ratings: to 103.4 barg (1,500 psig) and 538°C (1,000°F). No CBE can survive under those conditions. For designs with higher pressure ratings, please contact the factory.

PLATECOIL® Prime Surface
All PLATECOIL Drum Warmers are designed for use with steam, hot water, hot oil, or the high temperature heat transfer liquids.  They are equally adaptable for COOLING by using cold water or a refrigerant.
PLATECOIL® Prime Surface Heat Exchangers are fabricated from two metal sheets, one or both of which are embossed. When welded together, the embossings form a series of well-defined passages through which the heat transfer media flows. Standard PLATECOIL® panels are available in more than 300 sizes; widths range from 305 mm to 1,092 mm (12 in. to 43 in.). Length dimensions range from 584 mm to 3,632 mm (23 in. to 143 in.).

Repairs Send Anderson- Snow your leaky, worn or frozen coils for expert repairs. Your units will be thoroughly tested the reliable ANSCOR™ way and an estimate presented. All work can usually be completed within one week, perhaps even within one day.

Rebuilding When coils are to be rebuilt they may be fitted with new headers fabricated from steel, copper or copper alloys. Header holes are milled to conform to the tube centers of coil cores.

Replacements Coils that can't be repaired or rebuilt can, however, be replaced to meet the most precise requirements. When you replace with ANSCOR™ coils, costly changes to sheet metal and piping are not necessary.  When coils must be replaces overall casing dimensions will match your original unit, regardless of size or type of metal.





Booster Coils are used for zone heating or individual room heating where small hot water or steam coils are required.

REFRIGERANT CONDENSER COILS

SPIRAL HEAT EXCHANGERS:  Because of the single-flow passages, the spiral heat exchanger is State-of-the-Art-Technology especially in the case of fouling, viscous and/or particle-loaded fluids and is therefore frequently thefirst, if not the only choice. This is because bypassing is intrinsically avoided resulting in a self-cleaning effect by which potential blockages are washed away before they become a problem. Also in the case of difficult fluids, high heat transfer coefficients are established and in case of particle-loaded fluids sedimentation is avoided.
